We helped to source the van for this full camper van conversion. The full conversion included carpeting/insulation, pop top, rock and roll bed, full electrics, kitchen/storage, fridge, tv and cassette toilet. We worked closely with the customer throughout this project to ensure that they were happy and that it suited their requirements.
The owner of this van wanted to be able to bring her dogs to dog shows and have somewhere for them to sleep, which could also be used as a safe place for them to be kept whilst other dogs were in the show. As these events are over a few days there was the need to have sleeping space for 2 adults and a small kitchen pod so that the van provided everything needed.
We started this project by building a frame to hold a dog cage which can be accessed from inside the van and from the back of the van. The cage can also be accessed from the top but when the board is down and a mattress placed on top gives sleeping place for 2 adults. We then built the small kitchen pod to fit the remaining space which was just the right size to fit the fridge, sink and cooker.
No longer the need to look for dog-friendly accommodation as this van provides it all for a few days away.
The owner of this painter and decorator van wanted to be able to use it for everyday as well as work. To achieve this, we put in a bulk head in to split the van so that the work equipment and storage was accessible from the back of the van and out of sight when it was being used as an everyday van. To turn it into an everyday van we added a 3 seater bench seat supplied by the customer, added windows on both sides and carpet lined this new seating area. Looks great and the customer is happy with their multi-functional van.
We took a pre-2010 T5 van in lovely clean condition but we thought it looked a bit boring and so decided to liven it up a little. We did some major surgery in the form of a full facelift, to a 2010 onwards sportline front end and added sportline sidebars. For a two tone retro look we chose a full respray in a classic brown and cream combo to set it apart from any other van. We then dropped the suspension with coilovers and added the 20inch rims. Probably a bold move but one we think has paid off.
